I AM IN SHARK PARADISE PART 2 BY AIDAN PYE

Hi you might remember me from I am in shark paradise where I lost my arm well I sure think the shark had a good munch on that bony thing. I am now traveling to shark paradise again but I have some safety things now, like a real robot arm so I can punch a shark if I see one. I hate sharks now apart from ones that are friendly, I am now studying sharks to find interesting things like how much teeth can fit in one mouth. here I go on my shark hunt so that I can shoot it and then study it and give it to the museum in town and make so money, but I find it a little cruel to stuff animals especially when they are dead. Splash new gear and new speargun I am in a shark's cave I can tell by all the baby sharks, Bash a big fish just hit my waterproof robot arm, I scream in pain not knowing what to do. I forget the pain and carry on then a massive great white comes out of nowhere and passes me and then I swim and run in to a perfectly sized bull shark I shoot like 15 times and then it fell to the ground and I started to swim up and then I arrive at the boat.

The museum thanked me and gave me $1000 dollars and put it in my bank they said I will get more money if I get more for the museum. I thanked them and left for some more money, Splash in I go, again for some big fish like that one that hit me kick kick kick so many fish are there I know that I picked the spot but there were 5 sharks circling me I shot one and headed up with it attached to my hook.

I arrived at the boat and drove off and landed at shore

24/7 Store

Whirrrrrr, the aliens had arrived(that's what I thought) on the top of the gas station called the 24/7 store, it was just a random store but it wasn’t it had strange stories how people have never come out alive and that's because it was old and creepy completely run down. People say thats its haunted, People say there's a monster inside but the truth is that there are meat eating alien lizards that eat planets nobody was to ever go there no even a tank can survive only one person can survive thats me a explorer thats right I know no one has survived well I have a camera and I will take a video and throw it out the window if I don’t survive I also have some weapons like a stick or a wooden carver I love it but as soon as I stepped foot my heart filled with fear I went in and then I found the truth people just found some cool stuff in there and lived in the basement I decided to call the cops and they were put through a secret meeting to see if they were alive. P.S the whirr was just a helicopter in the air passing by.

COMPETITION

TO MAKE THE SEMIS:

You must bake at home either:

• A cupcake and decorate it using a creative design
• A cake and decorate it creatively
• Pancakes/Pikelets - create different shapes and make them

REMEMBER:

YOU are judged on the Look of your masterpiece entry ONLY because you are submitting a photograph.

PHOTOS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY  THE 12 JUNE

The finalists will be announced on Wednesday 13th June by being displayed on our class window

FINALS:

These entries need to be brought into school to be taste-tested by the judges.

• You must create something out of at least 4 of these ingredients only:
• Flour
• Butter
• Cocoa
• Milk
• Baking powder
• Vanilla essence
• Sugar
• Icing sugar or fondant
• (can use lollies to decorate only)
• Coconut
• Eggs
• Chocolate chips
• Cheese and tomato
• raisins/dates
• Food colouring


GRAND FINALS
The people who make the Grand Final, will be having a  Bake-off in the Tech room. You have 2 hours to create something of your choice.
The 5 judges will be judging on both how
Creative your baking looks and tastes!  
There will only be 3 chefs in the Grand Finals `

Bring: A photo of you baking and the thing you baked.
Room 22 are the only people who are going to participate. If you want to sign up then meet in room 22 at 11:30 on 5th June 2018         



You can use your chromebooks or cookbooks that have  your recipes in them.

learning reflection:

I Am Proud of my progress, Because I think I have done really well with my math and now I can do algorithms in maths and I have neater handwriting. I am a lot better with my reading now and think I am doing well in my writing and spelling. I would like to improve on my maths with my fractions and my decimals. I would like to learn more maths strategies before I go to intermediate.

I like how I have been learning new strategies at school like learning algorithms and I think that I have been getting better at my personal handwriting and writing goals also I like how I learnt how to weave and better typing because I used to type with 1 finger.

I am proud of my reading it is to make connections and get better a skimming and scamming I am also proud that I am writing in paragraphs and coming up with cool stuff like a baking competition that is in room 22s newspaper.  

I am proud of my progress in my spelling it has become a lot better and now I can spell a lot more words correct and my spelling has helped my writing and I hardly ever have spelling mistakes now.

Blog Post 08/06/18

This week on Tuesday Room 22 had a substitute Teacher  called Miss Smerdon She taught us about neurotransmitters and more about neurons also about the corpus callosum and what neurons look like and that neurotransmitters are your thoughts. 

Then on Wednesday We did Matariki Activities My favorite was making Matariki kites and coloring stars It was super fun and then in the hall I there was a game but when I first came in there was music on and I thought it was a jump and jam but it like basketball It was fun and then It at the end of the day everyone was talking about it.
